About your Consultant Profile
Your STCnet profile is your digital identity within the consultant network. Keeping your profile complete and accurate ensures you are correctly indexed in the directory, making it easier for other members to discover your capabilities and invite you to high-value project bids.
Profile Completion Checklist
To maximize your visibility and search ranking within the directory, ensure your profile includes: (1) Country of Residence (primary base) and Countries of Experience (multi-select track record); (2) Sector Skills (thematic practice areas such as Agriculture, Health, PFM, Climate, or Digital) and Methodologies (analytics, RCTs, ESIA, policy drafting); (3) Target Engagement Types (Design, MEL, Technical Assistance, Implementation Support, ASA); and (4) A concise Biography summarizing key institutional client experience. Keywords in your bio are fully indexed by the directory search bar.
Continuous Updates & Re-submission
We recommend reviewing and updating your profile quarterly. Submitting the onboarding form with your registered email or account ID automatically updates your active record in the directory so peers always have access to your current availability and recent project track record.
Professional Credentials
For specialized certifications (such as certified environmental auditor or professional engineer status), you will need to upload supporting verification documents. The membership committee reviews these submissions within three business days, after which the corresponding verification badges are displayed on your public directory listing.
Data Handling & Profile Privacy
We take data security and member privacy seriously. Completed profiles are visible only to logged-in, verified members of the STCnet portal—they are not indexed by public search engines like Google. We share data only with trusted infrastructure providers (such as Clerk for authentication and Airtable for secure form processing) essential to running the service.
Need Assistance?
If you have questions about skill classification, need to request a new country index, or experience issues with the onboarding form, please refer to the main portal support documents. For profile deletion requests or to change your primary account email, contact the member services desk directly.
