Collaborate on STCnet.
The peer network for international development consultants. Form agile consortiums for MDB & donor tenders, discover specialist teammates, and share regulatory knowledge.
Welcome to the STCnet Consultant Network
Founded by former World Bank Short-Term Consultants (STCs), STCnet connects verified specialists across the International Development & MDB ecosystem—including the World Bank, ADB, AfDB, IDB, and UN agencies. Our platform empowers independent consultants to pool capabilities, adapt to tightening context, and submit competitive, multi-disciplinary bids for high-value tenders, RFPs, and donor-funded assignments globally.
Our Collaborative Mission
By connecting verified practitioners across technical sectors and geographic regions, STCnet breaks down the silos of independent consulting. In an era where multilateral development banks and global institutions face budget pressures and heightened scrutiny on procurement efficiency, professional consortiums are essential. Whether you specialize in environmental safeguards, public financial management, or digital development, STCnet provides the tools to partner effectively and win complex bids.
Collaborative Resource Hub
Standard teaming agreements, consultant NDAs, and bidding checklists are curated and shared by members within our secure Community Forums. These resources accelerate proposal coordination and safeguard intellectual property across consortium partners.
Portal Core Services
The STCnet Portal provides three primary services to members: a searchable Consultant Directory to locate skills, country experience, and immediate availability; Community Forums to discuss compliance, regulatory shifts, and donor procurement guidelines; and a Project Opportunities board to coordinate consortium proposals and track open tenders.
Strict Network Standards
Access to the portal directory and project boards is strictly restricted to verified international development practitioners. If you are an active member, please sign in with your credentials. If you are interested in joining our network, please refer to the onboarding guidelines or contact member services to verify your professional credentials.
Peer Exchange & Professional Development
The platform also hosts community discussions, AMAs, and peer-to-peer exchanges to help members stay up-to-date with evolving donor frameworks, evaluation methodologies, and tender strategies.
